Eddy Merckx & Roger De Vlaeminck Paris-Roubaix, 1975 The spring classic Paris-Roubaix is fondly known as the Hell of the North. One of cycling’s oldest races, it is often wet and muddy and takes the riders over rough, cobbled roads. Three-time Paris-Roubaix winner Eddy Merckx & four-time winner Roger De Vlaemink are captured here slogging through the mud at the 1975 Paris-Roubaix. Each image in the Vintage Print Series has been reproduced from an original photographic print or negative in The Horton Collection archives. Each has been carefully restored to remove dust, water stains, fingerprints, or other wear and tear.
