Has a new US barrel and 1.5 mil stamped receiver with reinforcement ridges. Utilizing enough US parts to make it 922R compliant. The new U.S. made heavy barrel has cooling fins duplicating the original but with the accuracy of a new bore. The RPK was designed as a gas-operated, air-cooled, drum-fed, selective fire, squad automatic weapon with a bipod. Like the Soviet RPK but has unique design features such as the heavy finned barrel. Allowing for maximum cooling under heavy fire.
