#3776 Fuji Unkei Kinu Gumo

The New #3776 CENTURY Fuji Series Fuji Unkei Kinu-Gumo* Limited edition of 2,500 units worldwide. To celebrate the release of Platinum Pens model, the #3776 CENTURY, a series of fountain pens called Fuji Five Lakes was created from 2011 to 2016, followed by the Fuji Shunkei series from 2017 to 2021, which showcased the beautiful seasonal scenes of Mt. Fuji on the body of the pens using an advanced cutting technique. In 2023, the Fuji Unkeiseries was born with the concept of expressing that image using various decorative methods, inspired by the beautiful scenery created by the collaboration of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding clouds. As the third product in the series, we will be releasing Kinu-Gumo, which takes on the challenge of new decoration. Kinu-Gumo generally refer to cirrus clouds. Kinu in Japanese means silk, and cirrus clouds are characterized by their thin, delicate, fibrous, or feathery appearance, resembling silk. Fuji Unkei Kinu-Gumo expresses these characteristics delicately and dynamically with two techniques used for metal decoration: guilloche engraving and V-blade engraving. By daring to create unengraved areas, the presence of clouds in the sky can be felt even more, and this is truly a cloudscape. The #3776 CENTURY Fuji Unkei series comes with a 20ml-bottle of specially blended NIshiki-Oru-Fuji ink to commemorate its release. This ink is inspired by the autumn leaves that color the mountains surrounding Mt. Fuji. Depending on the light, golden reflections appear, allowing you to gaze upon the carpet of brocade.
