This extruder upgrade kit for the Makerbot Replicator 2X dual nozzle printer will replace the original feeders and cold block. It allows for a more reliable printing with all sorts of filaments, both stiff and flexibles and the Dual Drive system ensures that the extruder never looses grip of the filament so grinding and slipping is a thing of the past. The original motors are used and the PTFE feed tube is held securely in place with an industrial 6 mm Push-fit connector for reliability. Installs in about one hour with standard tools available. Please verify that your heat break fits before placing your order. The set-screws that hold the heat break in place are M3x10. It is possible to adjust the nozzle height without removing the motors by loosening the setscrew from the right and left side of the cold block.
